Faculty Development

Faculty in academic medical centers are often required to take on multiple job functions, many of which they are ill-prepared to fulfill (see table above). Faculty development programs fill these gaps. After attending several development courses (most notably ELAM), I began programming courses for my campus.

I am most involved with one course that targets administrative and leadership skills (The Administrative Colloquium) and a faculty manuscript writing workshop (Write Right Now). Click to download more details.
